MISSION STATEMENT

Our goal is to use statistical analysis to provide concrete evidence and insight into how river pH levels are changing over time. We hope to, through our models and interpretation, educate and inform the public of the negative impact of water acidification. We focus on Virginia rivers and the Delaware!

Timeline

2020

In 2020, pH2O Analytics was started. We learned R Programming to learn how to retrieve, filter, and graph pH data.

2021

In 2021, we learned more about how to handle complex data and create actual models for prediction of data through the Wharton Data Science Academy and independent learning. We also helped to conduct an in-depth analysis and case study on the Delaware River.

2022

In 2022, we learned more about machine learning and its applications in environmental science and acidification. Furthermore, we integrated mahcine learning research to our position.

2023

In 2023, pH2O Analytics took machine learning a step further and created a model to predict the Delaware's river's pH level a week into the future. More to come soon!
